Tracey has worked with clients to create beautiful spaces for nearly two decades.
She has a strong belief in the importance of one's home environment. Homes of all sizes and budgets should bring comfort, inspiration and joy, always reflecting the character and values of its inhabitants. It is her privilege to maximize the potential of every home entrusted to her. The design process for Tracey is rooted in understanding a client's passions, favourite activities, needs, and lifestyle.
Tracey considers herself a trades' designer. She takes care in developing symbiotic relationships with her trades colleagues. Being a proponent of a positive and respectful work environment is essential to the success of each project and everyone involved. For her, this positivity is integral to the design process. Her clients and fellow trades colleagues regard Tracey as approachable, invested in each project, and very detail-focused.

I have decided on a project for my home. What's next?Often times a client will begin by selecting their designer first. Other times the client will first choose their contractor. Once both are chosen and connected, the preliminary project plans are crafted and the project is underway.

How much of the home project are you, the designer, responsible for?Each contract involves a productive relationship between the designer and team members involved in all capacities, from the client to the contractor and each of the trades. Additionally, I work with trusted industry manufacturers, suppliers and installers who guarantee product, installation and service. While each project is unique, I contribute to the decision making towards functional as much as aesthetic design of the project, playing a significant role in the coordination of the project implementation. Typically, I steer a considerable amount of the project, while implementors put my decisions in place.

Which of your services are best for me?While each project and budget is different, I recommend my professional services as a means of making the project as successful as possible. A client can have their vision for a project strongly in place, but my connections and expertise in sourcing and supplying functional and aesthetic design elements allow clients to save their time and money on both foreseen and unforeseen work they might have done themselves. The process of creating a project can involve thousands of technical and intricate decisions both big and small. My services undertake this work for you in a way that keeps the design process enjoyable and timely. I can assist with any or all of the design process based on your needs.

Can you assist in design projects outside of the Lower Mainland?Dependent on the scope of work requested, absolutely. While working with a project plan, I have a strong connection to the dynamics, flow and layout of a space, while fully visualizing the completed space before it materializes. I am able to effectively assemble all of the design elements required for a complete project - virtually and remotely. If in-person work is beneficial, I am available to make any needed site visits.
